How to get a Rift Egg through sacrifices
- Read the request first. Open the lobby Rift exchange and note the three pets and the current banner. An old guide’s example is not your current shopping list.
- Check your spare pets. Keep your main income team equipped. If a required pet is valuable to you, weigh the loss before offering it.
- Target the missing collection. Use the biome guide to plan a return route. Inspect the egg and hatch it before going back to the exchange.
- Review all three selections. Use hatched pets that match the live request. Sacrificed pets are consumed; this is not a temporary loan.
- Check the result. Confirm the reward in your egg inventory and read its hatch timer. Use the hatch timer with that displayed duration.
If the exchange does not work
Compare the requested names with your selected pets, make sure all slots are filled, and reopen the panel after a banner change. An unhatched egg is not the same inventory item as its pet.
Which new egg should you target?
Choose the collection you want before giving up a useful pet. Shattered Colossus is the headline target in the Shattered Rift pool, but the result is random. Use the income visible on a hatch to decide whether it improves your current team; a collection goal and an income upgrade are different reasons to keep a pet.
Why exact hatch odds are not listed here
The published per-pool percentages we reviewed total 100.5%, and sources describe banner odds differently. We cannot responsibly turn those figures into an exact overall hatch chance. Check the in-game odds display and keep banner selection separate from the pet roll.
Rift boss guide: crystals, arms and Boss Tokens
Public walkthroughs describe an Abyss Overlord encounter: clear the arena crystals, then attack the exposed arms during the next phase. Move away from marked ground attacks and follow the current arena prompts. A group can divide its attention between targets.
Rifts are reported on a roughly 30-minute server cycle. Watch your server’s notification instead of assuming every portal opens at the same wall-clock minute. The banner’s reported three-hour rotation is a separate clock.
Do three boss kills guarantee an egg?
One walkthrough-based guide reports an egg after three wins. Treat that as a mastery claim to check on your own progress panel, not the requirement for the lobby sacrifice exchange. This distinction matters when you are collecting pets for a particular banner.
Fractured mutation: check before spending
Boss Tokens can be spent in the Boss Shop. Coverage identifies a mutation consumable and also links mutation rewards to Boss Mastery. Read the item’s success chance before buying: a consumable can fail and should not be treated as a guaranteed upgrade.

The September 6 community Rift report says the Hungry Monster feeding event was removed. Keep its old reward instructions as history; check your server before attempting an infested-egg run. An event ending does not by itself establish that its existing pets were deleted.

How do you get a Rift Egg in Steal An Egg?
The lobby Rift exchange is reported to request three hatched pets. Read the current request, collect those pets and submit them. The sacrifice consumes them. Boss Mastery rewards are a separate route with their own progress panel.
What can hatch from a Shattered Rift Egg?
The reported collection includes Shardling, Shattered Ram, Shardwing, Shattered Drake and Shattered Colossus. A pool listing does not guarantee a particular hatch.
How often does the Rift banner change?
Community coverage describes a three-hour banner rotation. Use the live banner countdown; the boss portal is a separate system and has a different reported schedule.
Is Shattered Colossus better than Kitsune?
Public guides report $3.5B/s for Shattered Colossus and $1.8B/s for Kitsune. These are comparison figures, not a promise about your pet. Compare the displayed income after size, mutation and boosts on both cards.
What is the Fractured mutation multiplier?
The Rift shop and Boss Mastery are reported sources of mutation consumables. We have not verified a reliable Fractured income multiplier, so it is left unknown.
